Who's behind it
Alliance for Economic Freedom is a conservative 501(c)(4) advocacy group — the right-leaning arm of the American Growth Alliance, an operation launched in late 2025 by the Financial Services Forum, the trade association of the eight largest U.S. banks, to spend on the 2026 elections. Because it is organized as a 501(c)(4), it is not required to disclose its donors. It runs advertising supporting Republican candidates, particularly members of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee.
