Who's behind it

Americans for Prosperity is a conservative and libertarian political advocacy group, founded in 2004 by the businessmen Charles and David Koch and now part of the Koch network (Stand Together). It advocates for free-market economics, lower taxes, and limited government, and is one of the largest and best-funded conservative political organizations in the United States, spending heavily on policy advocacy and elections. Its funding traces largely to Koch Industries and affiliated Koch-network entities.
